Let's Celebrate!
Believe it or not 2024 will mark the 50th year since we graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. The Class of 74 Reunion Planning Committee would appreciate your help/attendance in celebrating this milestone. Part of the planning is knowing how many classmates will be able to attend. Please let one of the Committee Member classmates noted below, if you can, or cannot attend.
The Reunion activities include:- Meet and greet get together will be held on Friday August 9 at Rides Banquet Center from 5-11. Snacks will be provided. Adult beverages will be available at an additional cost. Happy Hour is 5-7. A photo booth, casual conversation and great memories will be the highlights of the evening.
- Unfortunately, the 22nd Annual Dodge Boys (and girls) Open event has been cancelled.
As an alternative, Class of '74 50th Reunion Committee Presents:
Class of '74 “Masters Tournament” and Class of '74 “Speed Demon Challenge”.

Who will win the Coveted Class of 74 Masters Tournament? Classmates can take on the grueling course including the Mesmerizing Windmill, individually or in teams of 2- 4. Anyone can hit a golf ball on an expertly care for grassy yard, but it takes great skill and timing to tame the Fort Frenzy Miniature Golf course!
- Cost: $10/person
- Awards by individual score (Lowest) 1 st place, 2nd place, 3 rd place, and a “special” High Score award.
- Cards turned in to Reunion Committee Rep.
“Class of 74 “Speed Demon Challenge”
Determine who from the Class of 1974 is the true Speed Demon!
Anyone can drive fast going in circles, but they say it takes determination, skill, and guts, to take on the Fort Frenzy Go-Cart paved bank course, with its right turns followed by immediate left turns. Needless to say, this track is not for the faint of heart! Ask the King of NASCAR: Richard Petty, for his thoughts!
- One classmate on the course at a time, or depending on number of participants spread out 2 -3 at one time
- Each Speed Demon Challenge is 3 laps of the banked and curved paved course. Cost $10/ Challenge. Classmates can do as many Challenges as they choose.
- Best Lap time is determined by dividing the total time by the number of laps taken.
- Awards by Best Time: (1st ) Speed Demon, (2nd ) Speed Racer, (3rd ) Speedy, and Grandma Moses (slowest).
- A tour of Fort Dodge Senior High School organized by Mick Rathermel will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, August 10.
- A sit-down meal will be held on Saturday Evening August 10 at The Cardiff Center at Fort Frenzy. Social Hour & Check-in begins at 5:00 with a cash bar. Dinner is at 6:30 catered by the Lidderdale Country Store. The Brookstone Inn & Suites (built in 2019) parking lot is connected to the Cardiff Center.
